This start of this Church came from God
in Dec. 1988
(Formally known as Word of Life Church).
Word of Knowledge at a Full Gospel Men's Retreat
was given to Leo Strathman that God would send people across Leo's path to
teach him in the Word which God faithfully did. The two main men were Mark
Irvin and Sterling Hutchins who taught the Truth of God's Word for three and a
half years. Then the vision of the Church became a reality. In 90
days the dedicated founders found a building (formally a bar) and remodeled and
prepared the building for Church Services. God called Pastor Leo Strathman, in
Dec. 2005, to Pastor for a season since he has a "burden for the lost in this
area" until God sends a Pastor that will take on that same burden.
The vision for the Church is that there would not
be a denomination tag above the door. "If you want to be born again, baptized in
the Holy Spirit, healed, and delivered, come. We believe the Bible literally is
what it says. The Bible is our guide."
In December 2006, the name of the Church was
changed to "Church of the Coming KING" and we invite you to attend services
at 9:30 A.M. on Sunday, prayer and praise on Sunday evenings at 7:00 P.M. or
praise and teaching at 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday evenings.
Services can also be
seen on SCTV at 6:00 P.M. in Seneca. In Sabetha, call the City Hall
